Transforming St Peter De Beauvoir: a hub of warmth, welcome and creativity in the community.

This project will ensure the sustainability of St Peter’s as a warm, welcoming and vibrant cultural and community hub. It will build upon a long history of welcome for people from diverse backgrounds, responding to demand to use the church for community, heritage, educational and cultural events. However, the church is currently limited in fulfilling its potential due to its condition and access issues. The project will establish what the community wants and what the building needs. We will engage a Business Planner and Fundraising Consultant to ensure financial sustainability; an Audience Development Consultant to deepen existing partnerships and forge new relationships to help reach larger and more diverse audiences, meeting social needs in the area and filling gaps in local provision. An access audit, condition surveys and feasibility studies will be undertaken to inform future repairs and capital works to improve access, safety and energy efficiency.
