Trinity 600: Celebrating 600 years of History with Hull Minster

2025 is a significant year for Hull Minster, as we celebrate 600 years since the church was completed and consecrated as Holy Trinity Church in 1425. Holy Trinity has been a constant presence in the city centre for centuries, and the history of the city is written within our walls. Through the recent HLF Revival Back to Life project, Hull Minster now confidently carries the reputation of a heritage building. We want to use this 600th anniversary to celebrate the significance of Hull Minster within the city, sharing the rich history and heritage of the church widely across all generations. We will share the living heritage of music, performing arts and crafts, festivals, and social practices that we have inherited and explore how they are still celebrated today. People will be immersed in the life and traditions of their ancestors that have shaped who we are as a city today.
