Uncovering St Helens Heritage Offer

Our vision is to maximise the potential of bringing St Helens museum and archive collections together, and hosting the 2026 International Festival of Glass to: -revolutionise access, inclusion and participation in local heritage, -display and interpret more local history and archive collections, -transform sustainability by growing income, brand, stakeholder relationships and strategic opportunities. The legacy will be: - new and embedded relationships with communities and stakeholders, ensuring advocacy and relevance, - flourishing as a community heritage asset – a hub for St Helens heritage, ‘Reflect St Helens’ (working title) through improved community consultation and co-production, - a redesigned community-led heritage offer, café, and retail, generating more visitors and sustainable income, - readiness to progress conservation of our Grade II* listed Tank House and repurposing of museum spaces, saving heritage, protecting the environment, engaging communities, and cementing organisational sustainability. -The World of Glass (TWOG) repositioned as a significant regional museum/heritage destination.
