Wentworth Woodhouse - Survive and Thrive
This project is an urgent resilience application to help Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust (WWPT) thrive over the coming year, implementing much needed improvements to our organisation in order to survive the short term challenges. Wentworth Woodhouse has reached a critical point in its regeneration journey. To thrive in the longer term we must develop more usable space from which to trade, in order to become financially sustainable. Lack of usable space is restricting our ability to grow as a visitor destination and business. The next capital project is a huge undertaking and will require the input of numerous funders and stakeholders. A pre-development stage is needed, to bring all the major cultural and regeneration funders to the table to agree a multi-agency approach before applications for development funding can be prepared. In the short term however, we need to survive until we move into a major development phase of works.
