The Heart of Natural Beauty project is acting at a critical point for nature. Across Bodmin Moor, the Lizard and the North Coast, ecosystems are unravelling fast, and without decisive intervention, the foundations of life will continue to collapse. This programme is an act of reconnection: restoring living systems at scale, breathing life back into our landscapes, and creating the conditions for species on the edge, including the vanishing curlew to return and thrive. High-impact action, we will heal wetlands, re-awaken fragments of temperate rainforest, and re-stitch mosaic habitats so recovery can move freely across the land once more. By placing young people at the heart of this work, through meaningful pathways of stewardship, the future becomes something co-created, not simply inherited. Together, Heart of Natural Beauty is weaving a wilder Cornwall: a place where nature and people flourish, and where tomorrow’s landscapes tell stories of courage, renewal and hope.
