Blackburn Lives: Celebrating Our Shared History

Community Action Blackburn (CAB) would like to use the “Blackburn Lives” project to engage the local community in the preservation and celebration of the strong social, cultural and industrial heritage of Blackburn. Central to this will be the provision of opportunities for learning, developing new skills and sharing memories. We would also like to work with the community to create a small permanent and interactive museum space within the Blackburn Partnership Centre, creating a new central focus for heritage at the heart of our community which will allow objects, photographs, memories and stories to be shared.
