Building resilience to save and bring back wildlife

The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside (LWT) has ambitious goals of 30% of land in favourable condition, and 1 in 4 of the population taking positive action for nature to ensure that wildlife in our region survives and thrives. The funding landscape has changed significantly over the last few years, and we need to ensure we keep relevant, adaptable and skilled in applying for available funds. To strengthen our resilience, we will secure new ways to fund our land management through Green Finance opportunities. This requires increased capacity as well as new structures and training. We will make the most of skills and experience learnt through our collaborations within this area. Our new investable products will be aligned to meet corporate requirements. We will empower staff to support more Community Fundraising initiatives and generate warm leads through engagement activities that will increase membership and donations.
