Buile Hill Park – The Green Heart of Salford

Our project will restore and renew Buile Hill Park. Creating a vibrant, accessible space for the community whilst celebrating its rich heritage. Through sustainable conservation, improved park features, meaningful engagement and significantly enhanced biodiversity, we will boost the park’s historical and natural significance.?? We will restore key heritage features, introduce interpretation, improve accessibility, introduce educational and cultural programs that connect people with the park’s history. Through community engagement, we will create a welcoming environment, promoting wellbeing, learning and social cohesion.?We will take an ecological and climate change driven approach to landscape restoration including sustainable urban drainage and large-scale habitat creation. The recently restored Buile Hill Mansion will provide a hub for this education and community engagement.? The legacy will be a well-maintained, cherished space that reflects the park’s heritage. Improvements will safeguard Buile Hill Park’s historical and environmental value, ensuring it remains a treasured asset for generations to come.?
