Cheshire's Wild Network

Wildlife in Cheshire is being squeezed into smaller and smaller corners as habitats disappear. Cheshire’s Wild Network will change that story. Cheshire Wildlife Trust aims to grow a confident, skilled and connected Wild Network of people and community groups who are actively restoring nature where they live, learn and work. We will equip individuals, schools and communities with the practical skills, knowledge and support needed to create, manage and connect wildlife-rich spaces. By focusing on transferable skills, peer learning and long-term engagement, the project will enable people to take effective, evidence-based action for nature and sustain that action beyond the life of the project. Each person supported through the Wild Network becomes better able to influence others, share learning and inspire further action, creating a multiplying effect across Cheshire. Together, we can turn fragmented patches into thriving, connected spaces where wildlife can recover once again.
