We wish to carry out enhancements to the Valley infrastructure which will add to our vision of becoming a National Forest Site and Ideally, a National Forest Hub. The project will also reconnect the historic woodlands with the Equatorial Observatory through new dedicated paths and access ways. Formerly an integral part of the historic estate, it now lies in the middle of a roundabout surrounded by a new housing estate. An unacceptable disconnect for this iconic scheduled monument. We will: ? Improve pathways and access to the woods ? Reconnect the historic Observatory and surrounding grounds ? Improve access ? Provide new recreation and play areas ? Tackle invasive plant species and plant new natives trees in the picturesque style ? Provide new educational and activity trails ? Engage the local community in new volunteering opportunities, skills and training ? Develop our FMP into a full site management plan
