Coed Lles/Wellness Woods addresses the critical need to preserve and restore the ancient woodland at Aberduna Hall, located within an AONB, to stop further decline and to safeguard the site for our current and future community. This project will enable us to utilise the woodland as a site of skills progression and training for woodland skills, for individuals and communities who are often underrepresented within this area of expertise. Situated around 20 miles away from the National Forest of Clocaenog, and situated between two large public areas of woodland (Aberduna Nature Reserve and Loggerheads Country Park), the site of Outside Lives provides a vital link in the North East Wales National Forest network, and this project will positively impact upon some of our most vulnerable members of society, who already engage with our site on a visitor basis.
