Nature And Landscape

#COED6 Coed Esgair

The vision of the Wilderness Trust is to create a thriving ancient woodland, bursting with life, that inspires people to spend more time in the natural world. Through the implementation of good management practices, we want to provide valuable habitats that support biodiversity in this woodland. This will in turn strengthen the ecological network between the connected woodland blocks, strips and shelter belts. Alongside this, we would like this site to continue and develop as a place of learning, setting in motion a path to making this woodland a community resource. We would value being a part of the National Forest, building connections with nature and between communities. We would like to be part of the movement restoring nature to the welsh hills and valleys and bring some hope to future generations.
