#COED6 Coedlan Tyddyn Teg

Through the Coedlan Tyddyn Teg project, we aim to transform underused land into a thriving, accessible, community woodland. We will enhance existing woodlands and develop a new three-acre agroforestry site, Gardd Goedwig Gymunedol Tyddyn Teg (GGGTT), for food production, heritage skills, and habitat creation. A key objective is to establish a 2.4km footpath network. This will connect to the public path to Bethel, improving community access. We will develop an existing 1.4km network and create new paths, with 700 meters designated as all-ability footpaths through a regenerating woodland to ensure accessibility for all visitors. Our project will serve as a living classroom and a model for sustainable land use, supporting wildlife, increasing food resilience, and providing a space for community learning and wellbeing. Designed and managed with local volunteers, the project aligns with National Lottery Heritage Fund guidance, creating a replicable model that benefits both nature and people.
