Nature And Landscape
We will restore and enhance 4.5 hectares of our woodland by removing or recycling thirty years of accumulated rubbish and will bring the woodland into healthy condition with mindful management and improved resilience. We will work with and grow our community of volunteers, organisations and young people. We will create innovative learning, research, training and wellbeing spaces within the woods. We will manage access to these spaces to ensure safeguarding of our communities. We will connect people to the woods through volunteering, learning and holistic wellbeing. Our community will include and support, young people who are struggling in school; families with disabilities, neurodiversities and anxieties, veterans, LGBTQIA+, unemployed, struggling teens, parents whose children have been removed, and others. Our WEB (Wild Enhance Belong) learning network will be non-judgemental, accessible, unique and creative. We will offer accredited training, skills, self awareness development and a place to belong, find meaning and flourish.
