We will: • Enhance and save the heritage of the Colne Valley Regional Park (CVRP), demonstrating its importance/unique features and protecting its environment • Advance our call for better recognition and advocate for better protections. • Achieve more diverse engagement for local communities to support in the above aim, demonstrating CVRP’s value to local people • build an evidence base facilitating more informed actions for saving heritage • inspire greater connection/ownership • transform how authorities/VCSEs/the public connect across the CVRP, strengthening collaborative working • increase the effectiveness of interventions working to advance CVRP’s biodiversity and heritage value • create/enhance opportunities for volunteering, skills building and employment/enterprise opportunities in CVRP to help it remain relevant now/in future. • protect, conserve, enhance and celebrate CVRP as one of the UK’s most important natural spaces adjacent to a major city. • Create a legacy to establish CVRP as a national exemplar/case study justifying the urgent call for designated protection of Regional Parks.
