Deeside through Time

In our Deeside through Time project, we will gather, share, and celebrate the unique heritage of Deeside, encompassing its built, cultural, and natural heritage. We will engage local communities along the riverside, raising awareness of the river’s role in shaping both the landscape and the lives of its people. The river, once a vital trading route and heavily industrial, is now internationally significant for its birdlife and forms part of the new Flintshire Coast Park. We aim to preserve the rich history of this evolving environment, capturing the intimate connections between nature, industry, and community before the links to its past are lost forever.
