Our achievements will be to: a) Run a heritage community grants scheme - the main theme being our diverse communities’ contribution to Enfield b) Increase EVA’s capacity to run heritage projects and strengthen sustainability Coproducing with heritage partners (including strategic/practical guidance from Enfield Council), EVA will: * Publicise the scheme through our community networks, socials, borough-wide independent/Council-run forums * Run application workshops * Offer one-to-one support/mentoring to community groups on project ideas, and developing applications * Undertake due diligence on applications * Recruit/train volunteer community members for an independent scoring panel * Ensure timely payments, monitoring and independent evaluation of the scheme * Hosting a celebration event * Recruit heritage expertise * Support a steering committee to suggest thematic priorities (with community input), provide governance, advice and oversight; and address Heritage Sector resilience. EVA will also build its capacity to develop heritage projects and access funding from heritage funders.
