Nature And Landscape
Epping Forest Heritage for All
Epping Forest, and its range of heritage, is not currently visited by the full diversity of people from adjacent localities. Our vision is to engage a significantly more diverse range of people and community groups in the Forest, and enable more diverse citizens to experience, celebrate and protect the Forest as a heritage space for years to come. Working in partnership with diverse, local, community organisations, we will create guided walks, talks, conservation activities and new digital materials which engage and inspire new people about the heritage of the Forest. More diverse people will feel safer visiting the Forest, a greater sense of belonging to the Forest community, a part of its heritage, and a greater sense of wanting to protect the Forest and its heritage. Some will become volunteers who inspire others about the heritage of the Forest, or get involved in conservation or policy work to protect it.
