Gender First - "See how gender roles have changed and how we can still make changes"

"Gender Roles through The Years" We are just starting an LGBTQ+ group. This is needed as more people are coming through the service that need this support. It is with these people, mixed with the women's and men's groups, we have formed a "Gender First" larger group, that have consulted upon and created the project for Heritage Lottery Fund. Partnered with the Glamorgan Archives and our Local Authority's LGBTQ+ department, we would like funding for 2 years to firstly research all available information from the Glamorgan Archives in Cardiff, take over the Archives and have people from an LGBTQ+ background working at the Archives. Year 2 will be to collation of all the information and an online and in person exhibition in the community will be held to show the difference between gender roles in the past and how they are now.
