Hey! Earthlings!

The project welcomes people from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds to share and celebrate their cultures, connect with nature and build stronger ties to land and community. We want people new to Shropshire to find a sense of place and ways to belong here. Our aims: +Involve a wider range of people in heritage, by engaging with diverse communities who are new to the UK +Increase wellbeing through connection to other people, to nature, and to sense of place, via shared cultural experiences +Develop skills in learning and creative activities, with opportunities for mentoring by skilled practitioners and heritage specialists +Enable participants to contribute their own stories and responses to heritage locations, to local libraries and archives, with opportunities for public talks, readings and workshops. +Provide audiences engaging with exhibited outputs with the chance to learn about different cultural experiences, deepen understanding and empathy, and value their own heritage more.
