History of Rewilding

History of Rewilding. This project will record and share the stories of the people who pioneered rewilding in England. Working with professional trainers from the Oral History Society, we will train 15 volunteers to record 30 oral histories from people who pioneered rewilding in England. We will include the NHS Nature Rangers' oral histories about integrating nature into hospital grounds. The 30 oral history recordings will be archived as part of the National Life Stories Collections at the British Library. We will run rewild yourself workshops at 4 locations to engage 100 young people with the heritage, working with artists 'The Lost Giants'. We will make a professional 45 minute documentary, using some of the interviews, to be broadcast on TogetherTV to share the heritage widely. The edited interviews will be available as a booklet. All digital outputs will be freely available online. See attached supporting letters .
