What If We Create CIC will revive and celebrate Grimsby’s rich history of printmaking by highlighting the technical and artistic skills of the town's past workforce. The project will preserve the social and industrial history of the period, ensuring this heritage is not forgotten. Living heritage space where the public can explore Grimsby’s printmaking legacy. Create opportunities for volunteers to learn and share endangered letterpress printmaking. Collaboration with local creatives to develop workshops that bring the town's printmaking history to life, to inspire new audiences. Community engagement through a program of workshops, ensuring the knowledge of traditional printmaking techniques is passed on to future generations. The project will not only preserve Grimsby's historical contributions to printmaking but also build a bridge to the future by fostering creativity and improving community spirit. It will provide a sustainable model for heritage preservation while inspiring a new generation of artists and makers.
