#HP TerraFirma: Ensuring a resilient future for English Riviera UNESCO Global Geopark

Our project will strengthen foundations of the English Riviera UNESCO Global Geopark to achieve a more resilient organisation with clear roadmap and delivery structure, robust business model and effective leadership for a 20+ year vision. Partner enablement, new engagement strategies & resources include: website development, volunteer engagement, interpretation and education tools, each informed from in-depth analysis & feasibility work. This supports our vision to: a) engage and inspire audiences to connect with environmental, heritage & cultural riches of our Geopark, through dedicated interpretation, digital communications and education. b) achieve wide-reaching, meaningful engagement with Torbay’s communities and visitors, irrespective of need or background, to grow ownership of the Geopark’s myriad heritage; c) enable our complex partnership that protects & celebrates environmental and cultural heritage as part of global knowledge exchange. d) increase our voice and influence to safeguard heritage for future generations, with evidence-based advocacy: driving behaviour change, increased ownership, investment.
