Kindling a Community Farm

Just over a year ago we purchased a 78 acre farm in Knowsley which to our delight is a perfect example of a traditional Victorian farm with beautiful red brick farm buildings set around a cobbled courtyard. We have exciting plans and ideas to transform our neglected buildings into a thriving hub of activity, but it is crucial that we do it right and make sure our local communities - particularly those who are underserved by heritage and environment projects - feel involved from the start. This project will do just that. We will engage our communities in: co-designing our buildings and facilities; piloting heritage skills workshops and wildlife activities and helping us to shape the future of Kindling Farm. This is a real opportunity to engage people both in the farm development and in protecting our environment and heritage.
