#LC Bowland Connects

Our place-based project will lay the groundwork for a long-term Landscape Connections programme. Our project aims to: Strengthen the Bowland Connects partnership by building capacity and resilience to support sustainable leadership and delivery. Build a diverse evidence base that supports a clear plan for nature recovery and connection, and connecting people and nature. Enable initial planning for nature recovery projects that connect people with the national landscape. We will achieve: A strong, resilient partnership ready to develop and deliver a funded Programme. Support and input from communities and other stakeholders to explore finance, align plans, and identify opportunities to have the biggest impact. A coherent, co-created vision and ‘road map’ for a ten-year nature recovery programme that connects people with the national landscape. Our legacy will be future delivery, building on this strong foundation for the conservation of natural heritage and more resilient land use that benefits nature and communities.
