#LC Broads Heritage Partnership: A Vision for the Future

We want to create a resilient partnership and develop a shared vision for the future of heritage in the Broads. This collaborative effort is essential to safeguard the area's irreplaceable heritage which faces significant and escalating risks from climate change, sea level rise, biodiversity loss and a lack of funding. By moving beyond siloed work and pooling resources and expertise across a broad network of partners, we will achieve outcomes far greater than any single organisation. By building this new partnership and shared vision, the Broads Authority can secure significant external funding, including a bid for Landscape Connections. The project aims to significantly increase understanding of possible futures for the Broads, as well as the future of inclusion and access for all communities connected to the Broads. The project also aims to strengthen local heritage organizations and communities, establishing a foundation for long-term stewardship of the Broads' heritage.
