#LC Gower National Landscape Connections

Gower National Landscape Connections project is a capacity-building initiative designed to lay the foundation for a future large-scale nature recovery programme in Gower National Landscape. Our primary objective is to develop a robust, evidence-based Heritage Fund Landscape Connections application that will deliver long-term environmental and community benefits. To achieve this, we will explore the pressures currently being exerted on the landscape, how this is manifesting in habitat conditions, and bring together the opportunities for restoration. This investigation will lead to building a strong partnership committed to tackling these pressures, eager to design a comprehensive delivery programme. Outputs will include the evidence base, a partnership plan, and detailed management and engagement strategies. We will ensure that a future full delivery application is well-informed, strategically aligned, and backed by a committed consortium of stakeholders, maximising the chances of securing positive landscape change, nature recovery, and community engagement in the Gower National Landscape.
