#LC Landscape Connections: Developing Common Connections

Our vision is to create a robust, connected landscape buzzing with wildlife, that supports nature’s recovery along 37 km of the Cotswold Escarpment from Cleeve Common in the north to Selsley Common in the south. We want people and nature to flourish, but to achieve this ambition we need to understand the heritage, the risks and the long-term solutions for change along with building our capacity to develop and deliver a transformational, landscape scale project. To do this we will: Develop a project vision outlining why the landscape is failing to deliver for nature and people and how that will be addressed Create a new partnership, with a robust governance structure Understand the gaps in resource, skills and knowledge needed to deliver a future project Develop the Future Common Connections project and supporting timeline, outputs and outcomes, evaluation methodology and budget for the project
