Mill Waters offers unique opportunities to get close to nature whilst providing a window into medieval, industrial and social heritage, all nestled within the urban settings of Sutton-in-Ashfield and Mansfield. Now is a timely opportunity to build on the successes of the first Mill Waters Project, guide Mill Waters through a period of change, strengthen existing engagement and create new opportunities. We will achieve better protection for heritage and nature. More people, including under-served audiences, will be better connected to heritage, nature and to each other, in new inclusive and meaningful ways. Existing partnerships will be strengthened, and new partnerships forged. Stronger, more diverse partnerships will contribute to, and compliment, increased and more diverse engagement at Mill Waters and in local communities. Mill Waters will achieve greater organisational and financial resilience. Heritage, nature, and people will remain at the heart of all that is achieved.
