#Natur Growth for Good
Growth for Good is a project led by Valleys to Coast within the County Borough of Bridgend. The project is a long-term commitment from Valleys to Coast in line with its 30-year business plan. This initial application is focused on working with local communities, residents, tenants and community groups in some of the most deprived areas in Wales: Wildmill, Cefn Glas and Blaencaerau. To transform unused areas of land into thriving food growing hubs. Valleys to Coast and Keep Wales Tidy will support volunteers with the initial transformation of the areas and then the ongoing running of the food growing hubs. The project we will give members of the local communities an opportunity to grow their own food, learn new skills, gain qualifications, improve their health and wellbeing and contribute to their local community. The ambition of the overall project is to transform 20-25 areas over the next five years.
