#NTC: Nature Together

Nature Together will support communities in every Bristol ward to take action for nature and benefit from its return. We will address barriers in skills, investment, and disadvantage to turn ideas into action. By fostering collaboration and building community and organisational capacity, we aim to create a system change for an accessible, nature-rich city where all communities benefit. We will tackle common barriers such as lack of skills, funds, societal disadvantage and poor health outcomes. Our approach includes removing barriers to green spaces, supporting volunteering and community-led action, developing skills, conducting quality and nature audits, building a project pipeline, securing funds, and informing strategic initiatives like the West of England Local Nature Recovery Strategy. This asset-based community development approach will enable collaboration across communities and organisations, fostering a “yes culture” that delivers change.
