Resolve

Building on our successful Revive and Reveal projects, we seek support to "resolve" our Liverpool Irish Famine Trail heritage work by bringing compelling stories to audiences through innovative, accessible approaches as we advance towards the 180th anniversary of An Gorta Mór. Our work will expand and deepen our content while sustaining hard-earned community relationships, responding to growing demand. During this pivotal transitional phase, we will strategically reflect, regroup and reach new demographics, with historically rich content that impacts lives today. Resources will enable us to create commemorative plaques, enhance digital app-presentations, sustain our dedicated History Research Group, and improve access to our internationally significant heritage. These advancements will strengthen our "handshakes with heritage" approach—making historical connections more meaningful for diverse audiences (international, national and local) while building on previous collaborative successes. The project represents a critical opportunity to consolidate past achievements while developing sustainable models for community-centred heritage engagement.
