Nature And Landscape

Rise in Nature – empowering women and girls from minoritised ethnic communities to lead on urban nature recovery

Our project will empower women and girls from racially ethnic minoritised communities to lead recovery of an urban nature network, focussed on Old Trafford. Working in partnership with WETA Community Services CIC, this project aims to address a lack of diversity within the conservation sector, developing environmental leaders from within the South Asian community and facilitating diverse voices to record, conserve and restore a network of natural heritage spaces in the places that are important to the South Asian Community.
