Robert The Bruce 750th Anniversary Festival

In June 2024 we wish to organise a ‘Robert the Bruce 750th Anniversary’ festival in Dunfermline, a Two-Day event which will be of value to anyone who has an interest in Scottish history. Generations of schoolchildren are familiar with the impact Bruce has had on Scottish folklore and culture. The Festival is an opportunity to re-tell his story on the 750th Anniversary helping to reinforce his legendary status for future generations. The Festival will be free and be open to all in Dunfermline featuring staged battles, jousting, storytelling, archery and falconry displays as well as music. Focussing on an enticing mix of heritage and modern interlinking with the medieval 'Bruce' theme. There will also be various craft stalls and other activities as well as food and beverage offerings ensuring that there is something for everyone who is looking for a great family day out at low cost.
