Nature And Landscape

Roots in the River

Roots in the River will connect people to the natural and industrial heritages on the River Worth, Fagley Beck and other smaller becks in the Bradford area, with the aim of creating sustainable volunteering efforts designed to improve the rivers. We will do this through walks, talks and practical volunteering events designed to highlight the importance of those connections and of restoring the rivers and becks. Where possible we will focus on communities, such as BME and socially/economically disadvantaged, traditionally under-represented in the environment and who typically spend less time and effort visiting and renovating our rivers.
