Securing a Sustainable Future for the Home of Children's Play

This project is part of an ambitious plan to create a sustainable future for Wicksteed Park, ensuring it remains a place where people of all generations and backgrounds can meet, play and explore for free, enjoying the positive wellbeing benefits of green space, the golden thread running through our DNA. We will nurture and support the work of hundreds of active volunteers whose love for this treasured heritage asset will maximise the benefits already enjoyed from previous National Lottery Heritage Fund projects. Wicksteed Park receives no regular external funding and operational costs have risen significantly. The cost of living crisis and changing weather patterns have compounded the challenges of generating sufficient trading revenues. Wicksteed Park is loved by generations of visitors who created lasting memories with their families here. Now is the time for our fundraising team to build on that support, helping secure a sustainable future for the Park.
