Big People Community CIC (BPC) will manage Pan-African heritage in Manchester to enlighten and inspire the next generation to realise their potential and be self-determining. SEE MY WORLD is BPC’s project which will host an array of heritage focused events and workshops to a wide audience, reaching over 800,000 people from Manchester and beyond. This all-year-round programme will be documented for everyone and anyone to access through an online archive website which preserves and prevents Pan-African stories at risk of being forgotten. A key milestone of SEE MY WORLD (SMW) is the commemoration and celebration of the 1945 Pan-African Congress; the project will host a series of occasions between 2025-2027 to mark its 80th anniversary (Ruby) including; * 4 heritage legacy projects * youth & community - 20 heritage workshops * Heritage & 80th Anniversary of the Pan-African-congress - 6 consultation events * Future engagement - online archive
