Spalding Town Station Community Heritage Project.

During?this collaborative project?a greater understanding of the condition of the Spalding Town Railway building will be established through costed condition and structural surveys. This will be used to inform the future project approach and ensure an accurate schedule of repairs. As part of?this phase, an options appraisal will be carried out to ensure the future of the building is viable, sustainable and of the greatest beneficial use to the wider community. The options appraisal will evidence community need using market testing. This will make the success of these options measurable and enable an informed approach for a future larger grant- as well as considering how the development?of the heritage site?can be funded and whether works?requires?phasing. Heritage Lincolnshire will provide support to the group to deliver the project and help it to become constituted to take on the next phase of the project.
