Sporting Heritage - the Golden Thread of UK Heritage

Our project will ensure that sporting heritage - the golden thread of the UK's heritage story - is protected and shared into the future. It will do that by ensuring that Sporting Heritage CIC - the only sector support organisation for sport which exists internationally - will be in a far stronger, strategic and resilient position. Our project will provide us with the time and capacity to research and evidence the impact we make on removing sporting heritage from risk, creating more resilient heritage across the UK, diversifying heritage, and impacting on wider agendas. It will allow us to use this research to shout loudly about what we do and the impact we make, and to create clear investment models for sponsors, funders, and clients wishing to use our consultancy services, levering in additional funding as well as ensuring we have the best governance model in place.
