Culture And Memory
Our project is a joint venture between St. John’s Church, St. John’s School, and the PTA, celebrating 150 years of shared history and community impact. This milestone event will bring together students, families, parishioners, and local residents to honour our past while strengthening ties for the future. Through historical exhibitions, student-led research, and oral history projects, we will preserve and showcase the rich heritage of faith and education in Spalding. The event will foster intergenerational connections, with younger participants engaging with elders to collect and document community stories. A week-long programme of activities, including music, performances, and a Parish Fun Day, will create opportunities for social inclusion and lasting community engagement. By working together, we aim to strengthen our links with the wider community, celebrate our shared values, and ensure that this legacy continues to inspire future generations.
