‘Stories Uncovered’ is the next step in discovering and sharing the stories of Dragon Hall’s past residents as we extend the recently reopened grade 1 listed venue to public visitors. Looking beyond its medieval routes, volunteers-led research and interpretation materials will use Dragon Hall and immediate area to explore social histories of this dynamic area of Norwich King’s Street and Riverside. Building on our recent summer opening and small renovations for visitor spaces by October 2026 we will ‘save’ unseen stories, increasing local pride and connection to heritage spaces and stories; Grow ‘Inclusion, Access & Participation’ in a deprived ward; and increase ‘Resilience’ through our knowledge and capacity to manage built and social heritage. -Volunteer-led heritage delivers multimedia interpretation materials, 50+ volunteers connecting heritage partners. -Writers and creatives provide accessible heritage activities for 1,910 families. -4,500 visitors experience Dragon Hall; England’s first ‘Literature House’ -New Dragon Hall Conservation Management Plan.
