Sustainable Future

The Paxton Trust is working towards financial sustainability, we have developed a multifaceted business plan with strategic developments to help us realise this aim. Financial sustainability will ensure that we can protect, preserve and share our diverse heritage for future generations. We are responsible for a Grade A listed, Palladian house, Recognised collections and 80 acres of landscape. This project, Glamping at the Bottom of Our Garden, will support this aim. Not only will we create a 7 pod glamping village on the Tweed footpath, but we will also work to diversify volunteer engagement, work with local schools and develop trails in the grounds. The glamping pods will create much needed additional accommodation within our designed landscape and supporting tourism for the South of Scotland and North Northumberland. It will create an ideal place for people to reconnect with our heritage and the natural environment.
