The 1932 Centenary Lounge: Creating a New Home for our Sporting Heritage.

Our organisation aims to preserve, celebrate, and share the rich heritage of Sheffield Tigers RUFC and its deep roots within the Sheffield community. Through the redevelopment of the 1932 Lounge, we want to transform a historically significant space into an accessible, engaging, and community-focused heritage hub. The project will protect important stories, memorabilia, and traditions while creating new opportunities for learning, participation, and connection. We aim to involve supporters, local residents, schools, and volunteers in shaping and interpreting this shared history, ensuring it reflects a wide range of voices and experiences. By combining conservation, digital interpretation, and community programming, we hope to inspire pride, strengthen identity, and make our heritage relevant for future generations. Ultimately, we want the 1932 Lounge to become a living space where history is not only preserved but actively experienced and enjoyed.
