Intergenerational project that reignites excitement and value, connecting intangible heritage with the fabric of this important heritage site. Living connections with culture and heritage become principal feature of Rotherham’s annual Festival of Stories: launching 2026 as legacy of Rotherham’s festival year, celebrating becoming world’s first Children’s Capital of Culture, a whole town movement initiated by Grimm & Co. Connect communities/bridge the divide: Illuminate/animate stories of social practices/sharing/rituals/ceremonies/festivities across cultures to recognise and raise awareness of commonalities, build appreciation, celebrate diversity together, imaginatively share with +12,000 people across Yorkshire.
