Culture And Memory
The Perception Busters
• Engage more young people in heritage. Deepen their understanding of the sector by myth busting preconceptions of work that heritage sites do. • Collaborate with young people to their peers in heritage through clear and concise messaging in language, mediums and platforms understood by young people. Devised by young people, for young people. • Highlight best practice in the heritage sector (across numerous heritage projects) on themes of saving heritage, protecting the environment, inclusion, access and participation, and organisational sustainability. • Develop and demonstrate collaborative partnerships between heritage organisations, locally, regionally and nationally. • Build skills and confidence in young people, including training in film, digital and building teamwork and project management skills. • Ensure heritage is at the heart of 2025 Children’s Capital of Culture (CCoC) programme in Rotherham. • Develop a digital strategy to embed digital across WWPT and maximise its impact, helping to increase organisational sustainability.
