Nature And Landscape

The River Great Ouse Wetland Arc

Our project will deliver an inspiring and community-led masterplan to help us care for 355 hectares of wetland parks for the next 999 years. We’ll synthesise aspirations for both people and nature into a community-led masterplan for the whole of the Wetland Arc, drawing on learning from our community habitat creation project, nature finance modelling and community consultations. Our new Biodiversity GIS Hub will publicise comprehensive information about local nature, augmenting local records and facilitating research whilst bringing nature into people’s homes. Our project will deliver lasting benefits: improved habitat quality and connectivity for wildlife, and greater pride, engagement and accessibility for our communities.
