By blending historical preservation, creative workshops, and exciting live performances, the project will connect people across generations to their shared history. We envision a vibrant and inclusive programme that engages 1,500+ participants directly, using circus arts to inspire creativity and community spirit. By collecting and archiving oral histories, the project ensures the Alzana’s legacy is safeguarded for future generations while sparking a borough-wide conversation about the importance of local heritage and stories. The project is a celebration of the past and a catalyst for new artistic and cultural exploration, leaving a lasting legacy of engagement, pride, and connection for Maltby and beyond.
