The UK Gospel Music Hall of Fame - The Legacy Archive
The history of gospel music in the UK is inter-connected with the history of Black communities in the 20th Century. The stories of the pioneers and trailblazers of gospel music in the UK are at risk of being lost as that generation dies and their personal stories go unrecorded and their physical heritage assets are disbursed. This project seeks to make safe this heritage for current and future generations and to make sure the story of gospel music in the UK and the impact of Black communities on UK music and culture is preserved and shared. They are significant markers in life events that tell the story of community, faith, vision, hope and more importantly inform our future of the now." Noel Robinson
