Nature And Landscape
Three Hares Woodland focuses on Conservation, Biodiversity and Education, whilst practicing and teaching Traditional Land work techniques. Introducing a Traditional Crafts and Building techniques programme, we aim to establish Three Hares as a 'Centre Of Learning For Traditional Skills', whilst supporting people into employment. -We want future generations to be able to enjoy and benefit from our natural and cultural heritage, by making responsible environmental choices now about how we live, work and care for it. -Build an Outdoor Classroom Roundhouse for Traditional Craft Workshops - Inform, inspire, and educate people, about valuable traditional skills and cultural traditions so they remain accessible, relevant, sustainable and valued. -Support traditional craft practitioners -Introduce new people to train in these skills, including young people not accessing the education system. -Keep traditional crafts, oral histories and vanishing cultural traditions alive for future generations. -Build on links with Historic Environment Scotland and Scottish Crannog Centre.
