In March 2024 Wandsworth won London Borough of Culture (LBOC), and through this bid we want to ensure that the diverse heritage of our current and past residents is not only celebrated over this year but becomes woven into our psyche. Our vision for LBOC is to develop a people-led approach to improving health, happiness and equality of opportunity, while uncovering and recognising our shared past . As we embark on this programme of change, being London Borough of Culture (LBOC) 2025 will enable us to galvanise partners and engage residents in leading the way to London becoming a Creative Health Capital City.
